The first provincial flight in the province of Limburg was for the 2025 season Gien, no less than 7,344 old and yearling pigeons came to the start and the winner among the yearlings is the top colony Sabrina Brugmans. The hens did not miss their start and no less than 30 pigeons were basketed, so that 30 prizes also flew. A perfect score and several top pigeons from the past seasons were among the first pigeons. Only the yearling is a new talent that last year only went to Sourdun as a young pigeon, but she is now immediately making her mark in pigeon weather. The first old pigeon is "Nikki" who flew fantastically in the 2022 and 2023 seasons and was less so in 2024. Now this season she has already flown super early twice and was my first pigeon last Saturday. The difference with her compared to last season is that she has taken a different living box with the cocks and therefore also a different cock. We are curious to see what else this new love will bring.
