Wat een crack ! En dit kan je toepassen op de duif die de nationale zege vanuit Dax (2026) naar Zedelgem haalde maar nog meer voor Noël Peiren zelf, die nog maar eens bevestigde over één der beste stam duiven voor de zware fond ter wereld te beschikken.
Bladzijden zijn in het verleden reeds vol gejubeld met eerbetuigingen aan het adres van Noël en zijn duiven. Over de landsgrenzen heen is de reputatie van zijn duiven alom gekend. Gegroeid vanuit de basis in Vladslo bij vader ontpopte Noël zich in Zedelgem tot een echt fondicoon met een stam duiven die, gehouden zo dicht mogelijk bij de natuur, in staat zijn de zwaarste wedstrijden naar hun hand te zetten.
