Godelieve Bielen achieved an impressive provincial victory in the first national Bourges race of the season. Her cock “5081416-22” flew at 1313.8 mpm, making it the fastest pigeon in Limburg and the only one to exceed 1300 mpm. The tough race was influenced by a strong east wind.

Godelieve started independently in pigeon racing in 2011, together with her husband Raymond, who takes care of the daily training. The winning pigeon was raced on the traditional widowhood system and comes from strong bloodlines including Maarten Poels, Dirk Van Dyck and Fons Hermans.
