Hats off to you, and we truly mean it. It's amazing how the Steveninck colony, year after year…or in other words…season after season, manages to establish itself at the top of Belgian pigeon racing. We could recount all the titles from past years, but we won't. This is partly because these impressive achievements are well-known to many, and partly because we want to highlight the achievements of the current Steveninck champions.
What's striking is that the power of the Steveninck pigeons doesn't stop after one generation. No…the examples of champions being bred after two, three, and even more generations are unprecedented. Few colonies in Belgium can boast such references. The common thread throughout the colony remains "Chipo" and his countless offspring, and the beauty of this story is that this line is perfectly suited for crossbreeding. The "winning genes" of the Chipo line embrace enrichment. An example is "Pepchi" x "Inteelt 178" (a direct Engels Jules and Yves hen). They are grandparents of, among others:
