She was sitting on a nest, having previously been raced in widowhood. It must have been the right motivation at the end of the season to achieve this performance. This hen now wins 1st Provincial Bourges against 1,379 yearlings and is only beaten by one other pigeon nationally, winning silver against 7,666 yearlings. A fantastic result for Willy, with a pigeon bred by Vanhoudt-Serre from Diest, from whom Willy already has several pigeons.

He usually purchases pigeons from fanciers in his region who beat him, something he's always been good at. So pigeons from Haesevoets-Haesevoets, Michel & Gunther Eyletten, and Vanhoudt-Serre are the mainstays in the breeding loft here.
